Lucy Rasheed is a professional actress currently working in Australia and the UK. Her unique Australian Outback upbringing, combined with her empathetic and expansive nature gives her a genuine approach of the role she takes on. She is a strong character actress with a flair for comedy.
Lucy trained at the London School of Dramatic Arts in 2008 /2009 and has worked in theatre, television and film. She has just finished working with Anifex, Adelaide. She formed her own theatre company, 'The Flying Penguins', in 2009 and performed their co-devised comic play 'Fame or Fries' overseas, finishing in the UK. They achieved 'runner up for new comedy' at The Radisson Royal Mile, part of the 2010 Edinburgh Fringe. In 2003/ 2004 she guest stared in McLeods Daughter's, a successful Australian drama series. Lucy also worked with director Rachel Ward and the acting department in 2008, on the feature film 'Beautiful Kate', before training in the UK. Her passion for film was ignited while growing up on the sets of major feature films shot in South Australia, such as 'Robbery Under Arms' and 'Holy Smoke.' Lucy also enjoys writing and singing and she has been has just produced her first children's CD SeaStar Rock.
